Abstract:

Provided are a learning support system, method and program which determine, on the basis of the linguistic similarity of phrases that a user learns to a native language, a prescribed time during which a user should learn in the next session, provide a repetitive learning opportunity at an appropriate time for each phrase being learnt according to the user, and thus enhance the effect of learning a foreign language. The present invention is provided with: a native language setting means 131 which sets the native language of a user; a learning phrase storage unit 112 which stores, together with a learning level, phrase information to be learnt by the user; a prescribed time calculation means 103 which calculates a prescribed time on the basis of the linguistic similarity of the phrase information to be learnt by the user to the native language; a storage control means 104 which stores the learning level stored in the learning phrase storage unit 112 in a first storage mode when learning is not complete, in a second storage mode when learning is complete, and again in the first storage mode when a prescribed time elapses after learning has been completed; and an output means 14 which outputs the phrase information to be learnt by the user in an output mode corresponding to the storage mode stored in the learning phrase storage unit 112.
