Abstract:
A learning system (10) comprises: a region candidate generating means (110) for generating a region candidate which is a candidate for a region in which an object is to be detected from an image; a correct region acquiring means (120) for acquiring information pertaining to a correct region where the object is present; and a correct target generating means (130) for generating a correct target to be used in learning by an object detecting means (210) for detecting an object from the image on the basis of the size of the correct region and a score indicative of a region matching degree between the region candidate and the correct region. Such a learning system makes it possible to appropriately execute learning according to the size of a correct region.
