Abstract:
A leather-like sheet comprising a tangled fiber bundle material which comprises a tangled product of fiber bundles each composed of extremely fine long fibers, wherein the fiber occupancy (A1) of a surface layer (a portion of the tangled fiber bundle material, which lies between the front surface of the tangled fiber bundle material and a face located at the distance of 2/3 the thickness of the tangled fiber bundle material below the front surface) is 36 to 56 vol%, the fiber occupancy (A2) of a bottom layer (a portion of the tangled fiber bundle material, which lies between the back surface of the tangled fiber bundle material and a face located at the distance of 1/3 the thickness of the tangled fiber bundle material above the back surface) is lower than the fiber occupancy (A1), and the ratio of the fiber occupancy (A1) to the fiber occupancy (A2) (i.e., A1/A2) is 1.08 to 1.8.
