Abstract:
A leather-like sheeting excellent in stretch properties which is made of a woven or knitted fabric united by entanglement with ultrafine-denier fibers having a fineness of 0.0001 to 0.5 dtex and at least one face of which is substantially constituted of the fibers, wherein the fabric is made of a conjugated fiber composed of at least two kinds of polyesters joined along the lengthwise direction of fiber side by side with the proviso that at least one of the polyesters is one comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate as the main component or a conjugated fiber having an eccentric core-sheath type composite structure made of at least two kinds of polyesters with the proviso that one of the polyesters is one comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate as the main component and wherein the fiber yarn constituting the fabric has a twist coefficient of 20000 or below.
