CLAIMS We claim: 1 . LAG is assembled from existing elements. - LAG emits an image from static pictures or video. In order to recognize the emitting image, the LAG should be watched from a distance. - From near distance LAG is almost invisible. Only the individual LED pixels are visible. - The transparent foil can be replaced by another transparent material that protects the LED pixels and wires from external weather influences. 2. Sunlight passes through LAG and it can be glued to windows. 3. LAG is flexible and can be mounted (glued) on any curves and shapes. 4. LAG does not need a cooler, frame, or supporting structure. |
LName of invention:
Led Advertising Grid (LAG)
2. Technical Field:
F21 S - NON-PORTABLE LIGHTING DEVICES; SYSTEMS
THEREOF.
3. Background Art:
All devices from LED lights (video walls and monitors) are made of modular panels with specific shapes and hardness. They could align in a straight plane and form a common system, but they are heavy and difficult to install. They can not be mounted in front of windows, because they stop sunlight and sight. Compared to LAG, their price is
significantly higher and can not be used in large sizes (for example, to cover a skyscraper elevations).
4. Disclosure of Invention:
The essence of the invention is a network of LED pixels interconnected with wires. A transparent mesh is obtained which can be glued to any elevation or surface and does not interfere with the windows. There is no form or size limitation. As the pixels are small in size and put at a great distance from each other, they are hardly visible on the inside of the windows. LAG can be interrupted by three sides to ensure that the doors and windows on which it is glued can be opened. This interruption does not interfere with the transmission of the images.
5. Brief Description of Drawings:
Figure 1 (Top View):
1 . LED pixel - Illuminated in different colors defined by the controller;
2. Electrical conductors (may be wires or other types of electrical conductors);
3. Transparent basic foil or other transparent material that isolates pixels and electrical conductors from external weather influences; It serves as the basis for LED pixels and wires. Figure 2 (Section):
1 . LED pixel - Illuminated in different colors defined by the driver;
2. Electrical conductors (may be wires or other types of
conductors);
3. Transparent basic foil or other transparent material that isolates pixels and conductors from external weather influences; It serves as the basis for LED pixels and wires.
4. Transparent cover foil - serves for sealing the grid and protects against external weather influences.
6. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention:
The LAG is powered and managed by standard drivers and controllers. An image (or video) is assigned to the controller via computer, and it controls the colors and lighting up the pixels.
7. Industrial Applicability:
All elements of the invention are manufactured by existing methods. Grid assembling can be done by hand or via existing production lines. The pixels and wires are mounted on the base transparent foil. With the transparent covering foil the entire mesh is sealed. The controller and drivers are standard for LED pixels.
