Abstract:
Disclosed is an LED heat dissipation structure, comprising: a heat sink (1) having fins (12), wherein gaps between the fins (12) form a plurality of continuous air flow channels (16), and air discharge ends of the air flow channels (16) extend to the periphery of the heat sink (1); a cover plate (7), covering the fins(12), closing openings of the air flow channels (16) at the top portions of the fins (12), and partially bulging and forming an air inlet chamber (71) communicating with the air flow channels (16); and an air blowing device (72), forcibly blowing air into the air inlet chamber (71). With the fins (12) being covered with the cover plate (7), the openings of the air flow channels (16) at the top portions of the fins (12) being closed; with the cover plate (7) being partly provided with the air inlet chamber (71) at the centre; and with the cooling air being forcibly blown into the air flow channels (16) by means of the air blowing device (72), the heat exchange area and efficiency are improved, therefore meeting the requirements of high-power LED lamps.
