Abstract:
The present invention relates to an LED illuminating lens and to an illuminating device using same and applied to a backlight unit. The LED illuminating lens, which radiates light which is emitted by an LED light source at a constant emission angle, includes: a first lens surface which is provided in an upper portion of an accommodating portion that accommodates the LED light source such that the light emitted by the LED light source is incident thereon, and which has an oval shape having two foci on an optical axis (Z); and a second lens surface that has an aspherical shape so as to emit the light which is incident on the first lens surface. According to the present invention, product manufacturing can be facilitated, assembly tolerances can be minimized, a backlight unit structure can be made slim and lightweight, and the degree of freedom in product design can be increased.
