Abstract:
A stand-alone LED illumination lamp is constructed using a stand-alone LED mount comprising a material exhibiting good thermal conductivity, said LED mount forming an LED in a material exhibiting good thermal conductivity, and using the extrusion material as a heat sink and a box for the illumination lamp. Thus provided is a low cost LED illumination lamp which may be made in a variety of sizes exhibiting good heat dissipation characteristics without the need for a heat sink especially for heat dissipation, and in which the LED mount may be freely placed, mounted, and removed.
