Abstract:
A lamp (1) comprising a tube (2) that is at least partially optically transmissive, an LED (10) mounted on a substrate (20) positioned in the tube (2) and being operable to emit light through the tube (2) when energized through an electrical path, pins (94) being in the electrical path, an electrical conductor (104) electrically coupling the pins (94) to the electrical path, the electrical conductor (104) being biased into engagement with an electrical contact (106) on the substrate (20). The substrate (20) may be secured to the tube (2) by an adhesive. The substrate (20) may be secured to the end caps (60) and be suspended in the tube (2).
