Abstract:
An LED light bulb capable of replacing a halogen lamp and a manufacturing process for the LED light bulb. The LED light bulb comprises a housing (1), a substrate (2), LED chips (3), and a power supply component (4). The housing (1) is a transparent glass housing. The housing (1) comprises a cylindrical upper part (5) and a flat lower part (6). The substrate (2) is provided within the upper part (5). The LED chips (3) are evenly arranged on either the front or rear surface of the substrate (2). The power supply component (4) is provided at the lower extremity of the front surface of the substrate (2). Molybdenum plates (7) are provided at the lower extremity of the substrate (2). The molybdenum plates (7) are connected to the substrate (2) via molybdenum rods (8). Insertion pins (9) are provided at the lower extremity of the molybdenum plates (7). The upper extremity of the insertion pins (9) and the molybdenum plates (7) are provided within the lower part (6). The lower extremities of the insertion pins (9) are exposed outside of the housing (1). The utilization of the LED chips (3) in place of a conventional tungsten halogen lamp and the employment of the glass housing as the housing (1) allow a G9 light bulb to provide great lighting effects and to be inexpensive, safe, and environmentally friendly, and extend the service life of the light bulb.
