Abstract:
Disclosed is an LED light-emitting type tire air pressure checker which can be used in severe outside air temperature environment, which can be used in a stable manner without being influenced by temperature change, and which, even if kept installed on a tire valve, permits air to be refilled, and allows air pressure to be measured by an air pressure gauge. The LED light-emitting type tire air pressure checker comprises a valve-located checker which, being installed on the tire valve at all times, permits air to be refilled and allows air pressure to be measured by an air pressure gauge, which opens the tire valve only at the moment when tire air pressure is checked, and which causes the position of a detection body to undergo displacement in a cylinder according to the air pressure in a tire; a main-body-located checker which is installed on the valve-located checker only during a check of tire air pressure, whereby the position of the detection body is detected by a detection means, said detection body having undergone displacement due to a check operation, and whereby an LED that corresponds to the state of said position is turned on or is made to flash, thereby giving notice of an air pressure state; a power supply joint which is connected to the main-body-located checker and supplies power to an electronic circuit and LEDs both of which are housed in the main-body-located checker; and an operation handle which is connected to the power supply joint.
