Abstract:
Disclosed is an LED light string power adapter having a valley-fill circuit, comprising a shell and a plug arranged at a predetermined position of the shell. An energy-saving circuit board is arranged in the shell; the energy-saving circuit board sequentially comprises a filtering device, a rectifying device, a valley-fill circuit, and a transformer from a voltage input end to a voltage output end. The valley-fill circuit is located between the rectifying device and the transformer; the conduction angle of a rectifying tube is greatly increased by using the valley-fill circuit after the rectifying device; by filling a valley point, input current is changed from a spike pulse to a waveform close to that of a sine wave, a power factor becomes very close to 0.7 or more, the total harmonic distortion is remarkably reduced, and thus the advantages of reducing input loss and saving energy are achieved.
