Abstract:
Provided are an LED lighting cover light-diffuser and an application therefor whereby the yellow light near 550 nm, which is a component causing an object to look dull when illuminating the object, is reduced to allow the contrast of the object to become clear and the colors on the object to be enhanced. The LED lighting cover light-diffuser is for use on the lighting cover of an LED lighting device for illuminating an object in order to render the object visible, and comprises a base material resin, a light-diffusing agent, and a dye absorbing at least some of the light in the 500 to 600 nm wavelength region. When a specific white LED is used as the measurement light source, the LED lighting cover light-diffuser is disposed in such a manner as to cover the white LED, and the spectral radiance is measured, the relative value of the spectral radiance at 450 nm wavelength is within a range of 1.60 to 15 when the spectral radiance at 550 nm wavelength is 1.
