Abstract:

Disclosed is an LED lighting system that will not incur heat emissions or damage to linear fluorescent lamp light fixtures wherein a fluorescent lamp stabilizer is replaced with an LED illumination device, if a linear fluorescent lamp is installed by mistake. The LED lighting system is configured by installing an LED illumination device upon a pre-existing linear fluorescent lamp light fixture and connecting an LED lamp to a pre-existing socket, and configures characteristics of output from the LED illumination device that is connected to a terminal gap (A) at either of the two ends of the LED lamp to be different from characteristics of output from a pre-existing fluorescent lamp illumination device. The LED lamp further comprises illumination device output sensor means for sensing the output from the LED illumination device to the LED lamp, and safety means for cutting off the input to the LED lamp when the output sensed by the illumination device output sensor means falls outside of a predetermined range.
