Abstract:
Disclosed is an LED module having improved color rendering characteristics, while suppressing deterioration of light emitting efficiency.
The LED module (5) includes: a blue LED (12); phosphor particles (14, 15) of at least one kind to be excited by light emitted from the blue LED; and neodymium glass particles (16), which contain neodymium ions that absorb light in a predetermined wavelength region, said light being a part of light emitted from the phosphor particles of at least one kind.
