Abstract:
Provided are an LED power supply and a drive protection circuit thereof. The drive protection circuit comprises a transformer, a rectifier unit (100), a first switch tube (200), a regulator unit (300), filtering units (500, 600), and an over-temperature protection unit (400); the temperature of the LED power supply can be monitored by means of the over-temperature protection unit (400); if the power supply overheats, the over-temperature protection unit (400) causes the first switch tube (200) in the power supply circuit to disconnect, and the energy supplied by the second coil of the transformer can no longer be delivered to the activating power supply to supply power; the entire power supply line (800) ceases operation, effectively preventing fires and other accidents. After the temperature decreases, the over-temperature protection unit (400) once again causes the first switch tube (200) to conduct electricity, the activating power supply supplies power normally to the power supply line (800), and the power supply returns to normal operation. Effective over-temperature protection is provided to the LED power supply, extending the service life of the LED power supply.
