As shown in Figs. 1 to 5, the LED street lamp according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below. The LED street lamp 100 is adapted to be disposed on a support member 200 of supporter. The supporter may be a wall, a street lamp pole, etc.

The LED street lamp may include a bracket 1, a light-emitting assembly 2, an upper case 3, a lower case 4 and a power drive assembly 5.

As shown in Fig. 1, the light-emitting assembly 2 is disposed on the bracket 1. The upper case 3 is disposed at rear of the bracket 1 and defines a receiving cavity 30 having an open bottom (i.e. the bottom of the receiving cavity 30 is open). The upper case 3 has a first connecting part 31 and a connecting portion 320, the connecting portion 320 is adapted to connect with the support member 200. The lower case 4 has a second connecting part 40 which is fitted with the first connecting part 31 to detachably and pivotally connect the lower case 4 with the upper case 3, such that the lower case 4 can open or close the open bottom of the receiving cavity 30. The power drive assembly 5 is disposed on the lower case 4 and received in the receiving cavity 30. The light-emitting assembly 2 is detachably connected with the power drive assembly 5.

In some embodiments, the light-emitting assembly 2 has an input interface 21, and the power drive assembly 5 has an output interface 51 detachably connected with the input interface 21. The input interface 21 is disposed on the upper case 3.

In some embodiments, the connecting portion 320 is a rear wall of the upper case 3, and the connecting portion 320 has a connecting hole 32 formed in the connecting portion 320 and adapted to fit with the support member 200. In other words, the support member 200 such as a supporting arm extended from the street lamp pole passes through and is fitted within the connecting hole 32.

It would be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the structure of the light-emitting assembly 2 and the power drive assembly 5 are commonly known in the art, so that the detailed descriptions thereof are omitted here.

During assembling the LED street lamp, the power drive assembly 5 is mounted onto the lower case 4 at first, and then the second connecting part 40 with the first connecting part 31 are connected with each other to detachably and pivotally connect the lower case 4 with the upper case 3.

When the receiving cavity 30 is closed by the lower case 4, the output interface 51 of the power drive assembly 5 is connected with the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2, such that the light-emitting assembly 2 is energized to illuminate.

When the LED street lamp needs to be repaired, the lower case 4 is detached from the upper case 3 to disconnect the output interface 51 of the power drive assembly 5 from the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2, thus, the power drive assembly 5 is deenergized and can be repaired or renewed.

With the LED street lamp according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the upper case 3 has a first connecting part 31 and the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2 is disposed on the upper case 3. The lower case 4 has a second connecting part 40 fitted with the first connecting part 31 to detachably and pivotally connect the lower case 4 with the upper case 3. Thus, when the LED street lamp needs to be repaired, the upper case 3 and the lower case 4 can be separated from each other without tools, and the power drive assembly 5 can be renewed or repaired merely by detaching the lower case 4 from the upper case 3, which may allow a single person easily operating, thereby saving maintenance time and labor costs.

In some embodiments, as shown in Fig.4 and Fig.5, the first connecting part 31 is configured as a hinge base having a pivot hole 310 and the second connecting part 40 is configured as a hinge head having a pivot shaft 401 fitted within the pivot hole 310, such that the lower case 4 may pivot relative to the upper case 3.

The first connecting part 31 is disposed at a rear wall of the upper case 3, and the second connecting part 40 is disposed at a rear wall of the lower case accordingly. With the pivot shaft 401 fitted within the pivot hole 310, the lower case 4 may rotate in an top-bottom direction relative to the upper case 3, that is, the upper case 3 and the lower case 3 are fitted together to configure as a hinge structure.

Furthermore, as shown in Fig.5, a groove 311 is formed in an inner wall of the pivot hole 310, and a boss 402 is formed on a peripheral surface of the pivot shaft 401. A first distance si from a center of the pivot shaft 401 to a free end of the boss 402 is smaller than a second distance s2 from a center of the pivot hole 310 to a top wall of the groove 311 and larger than a radius rl of the pivot hole 310.

When mounting the lower case 4 to the upper case 3, the pivot shaft 401 is inserted into the pivot hole 310 and the lower case 4 is rotated until the receiving cavity 30 is fully closed, because that the boss 402 is engaged with the wall of the pivot hole 310, so that the lower case 4 is pivotally connected with the upper case 3 and cannot separate with the upper case 3. When disassembling the lower case 4 from the upper case 3, firstly, the lower case 4 is rotated in the direction B2 as indicated in Fig.4 until the boss 402 is aligned to the groove 311, i.e. the receiving cavity 30 is fully opened, then the pivot shaft 401 is pulled out of the pivot hole 310 in the direction Bl as indicated in Fig.4. Thus, the lower case 4 and upper case 3 are easily detached and assembled without tools, and the lower case 4 and the upper case 3 can be locked as the open bottom is fully closed.

In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 4, a snap 33 is disposed on the upper case 3 for snapping the lower case 4. The snap 33 may configure as a rotatable snap rotatable around the upper case 3. Thereby, when detaching the lower case 4 from the upper case 3, the snap 33 is easily disengaged from the lower case 4. When the receiving cavity 30 is closed by the lower case 4, the snap 33 snaps the lower case 4 to enhance the connection between the upper case 3 and the lower case 4.

In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 2 and Fig.3, the LED street lamp 100 may further include an angle adjusting device 6 disposed in the receiving cavity 30 and adapted to fit with the support member 200 to adjust an angle between the LED street lamp 100 and the ground. That is, with cooperation of the support member 200 and the angle adjusting device 6, the angle in the top-bottom direction of the LED street lamp is adjustable.

The angle adjusting device 6 is configured as multiple steps extending forwards in a direction from a top surface of the upper case 3 to a bottom of the upper case 3. In the present embodiment, the angle adjusting device 6 is configured as four steps. In the direction from the top surface toward the bottom of the upper case 3, the four steps includes a first step, a second step, a third step and a fourth step. Thus, when the support member 200 is fitted with the different steps, the angle of the LED street lamp is varied. Namely, the support member 200 is fitted with the first step, the second step, the third step and the fourth step in sequence, the angles of the LED street lamp are -5 °, 0 °, 5 0 and 10 0 respectively. Thus, the angle of the LED street lamp can be adjusted by the angle adjusting device 6 to improve applicability of the LED street lamp.

In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 2, the LED street lamp 100 may further include a gradienter 8 disposed on the lower case 4 and received in the receiving cavity 30. The gradienter 8 always ensures the LED street lamp in a horizontal orientation. The gradienter 8 may configure as a bubble gradienter having liquid with high mobility and a bubble. When the LED street lamp 100 is in a horizontal orientation, the bubble stays in the middle of the gradienter 8 due to the weight thereof. The bubble of the gradienter 8 deviates from the middle of the gradienter 8 as the LED street lamp 100 is not in a horizontal orientation, thus whether the LED street lamp 100 in a horizontal orientation can be determined by observing the position of the bubble .

In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 2, the LED street lamp 100 may further include a clamp 7 disposed in the receiving cavity 30 and located right behind the angle adjusting device 6, the clamp 7 defines a clamping cavity 71, inner walls of the clamping cavity 71 is adapted to fit with an outer peripheral wall of the support member 200.

When the support member 200 is fitted with one step of the angle adjusting device 6, a part of the outer peripheral wall of the support member 200 is contacted with the one step, and the outer peripheral wall of the support member 200 is fitted with the inner walls of the clamping cavity 71 of the clamp 7 to achieve a triangular force balance, which may avoid a horizontal rotation, thus improving the safety and reliability of the LED street lamp 100. In other embodiments, the clamping cavity 71 of the clamp 7 is configured as a square shape.

In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig.2, the bracket includes a first frame 10, a second frame 11 and a front cover 12.

The first frame 10 and second frame 11 are spaced apart from each other in a right- left direction and parallel with each other to defines a space for receiving the light-emitting assembly 2. The front cover 12 is disposed at front ends of the first frame 10 and the second frame 11. The upper case 3 is disposed at rear ends of the first and the second frames 10, 11, which may simplify the structure of the LED street lamp 100, and be convenient for detaching the light-emitting assembly 2 when the light-emitting assembly 2 is broken.

Refer to Fig. 1 to Fig.5, the assembling and disassembling operations of the LED street lamp will be described below.

When assembling the LED street lamp 100, firstly, the first frame 10 and the second frame 11 are disposed on the left and right side of the light-emitting assembly 2 respectively, then the front cover 12 is disposed at front ends of the first frame 10 and the second frame 11, next, the upper case 3 is disposed at the rear of the first frame 10 and the second frame 11, so as to clamp the light-emitting assembly 2 in a space formed by the first frame 10 and the second frame 11, and the input interface 21 of the light-emitting assembly 2 is disposed on the upper cover 3.

Meanwhile, the angle adjusting device 6 and the clamp 7 are disposed in the receiving cavity 30, and the clamp 7 right is located behind the angle adjusting device 6, then the pivot shaft 401 of the hinge head 40 is inserted into the pivot hole 310 of the hinge base, thus with cooperation of the boss 402 and the side wall of the pivot hole 310, the lower case 4 is pivotally connected with the upper case 3.

Next, the lower case 4 is rotated to close the receiving cavity 30, and the snap 33 of the upper case 3 snaps with the lower case 4, thus, the assembling of the LED street lamp is completed.

When mounting the LED street lamp onto the support member 200, the supporting arm 200 is inserted via the connecting hole 32 and fitted the support member 200 with one step of the angle adjusting device 6.

By adjusting the support member 200 to fit with different steps of the angle adjusting device 6, and observing the position of the bubble of the gradienter 8, not only the angle in the top-bottom direction of the LED street lamp can be adjusted, but also the horizontal orientation of the LED street lamp can be ensured.

When adjusting the angle of the LED street lamp 100, the receiving cavity 30 is opened by the lower case 4, thus it is convenient for the operator to observe the position of the bubble of the gradienter 8.

In an embodiment, the material of a partial bottom of the lower case 4 corresponded to the poison of the gradienter 8 may be a transparent material, so that when the horizontal orientation of the LED street lamp 100 needs to be adjusted, the operator can observe the bubble from outside, instead of opening the receiving cavity 30 by rotating the lower case 4.

When maintaining the power drive assembly 5, firstly, the snap 33 of the upper case 3 is disengaged from the lower case 4 so that the lower case 4 is allowed to rotate relative to the hinge base 31, as indicated by the direction B2 as shown in Fig. 4, the lower case 4 is rotated to a preset angle ( e.g. 135 °) as shown in Fig. 4, the boss 401 of the pivot shaft 401 is corresponded (aligned) to the groove 311, and then the pivot shaft 401 is pulled out from the pivot hole 310 in the direction Bl to detach the lower case 4 from the upper case 3, and then the power drive assembly 5 can be detached from the lower case 4.

With the LED street lamp according to embodiments of the present disclosure, when the LED street lamp needs to be repaired, the upper case and the lower case can be separated from each other without tools, thus the power drive assembly can be easily renewed or repaired by detaching the lower case from the upper case, which allows a single person operating thereby saving maintenance time and labor costs.
