Abstract:
The present invention relates to the improvement of a length adjusting device wherein the length adjusting device is a circular body similar to the waist of pants worn by a user and is open on one end, the ends of the open portions are overlapped with each other and an adjusting tool is attached to the overlapped portion to adjust the length of the circular body; or wherein a connecting string is attached at a location where two members face each other so that the two members can be coupled or separated, protruding ends of the connecting string are gathered and overlapped, and an adjusting tool is attached to the overlapped portion to adjust the length of the connecting string connected between the two members; or wherein a main wall of an insulating container is opened so that the diameter of the insulating container can be adjusted when the external surface of a container, like an insulating container, is covered with the insulating container, the open portions are overlapped and an adjusting tool is attached to the overlapped portion to adjust the diameter of the insulating container. More specifically, the present invention relates to a length adjusting device for adjusting the length of an overlapped portion, wherein the length adjusting device is composed of: a moving part attached to an adjusting member of the overlapped portion and moving the position of the adjusting member; a fixed part attached to a fixing member facing the adjusting member; a support for coupling the moving part to the fixed part; and a stopper mounted on the moving part and allowing the moving part to be engaged with or separated from the fixed part. Since the adjusting device can be slimmed by improving the structure of the moving part, the stopper, and the fixed part, and thus does not protrude significantly from the side of an adjusting part, the length adjusting device is convenient to use. Also, the length adjusting device has a low failure rate, and thus can be durably used for a long time.
