Abstract:
A length measuring device (10) for measuring the length of an object (2) being measured is provided with: a scale portion (11) which is provided on the object (2) being measured, and in which two-dimensional codes (50) having different patterns are provided side-by-side in at least a length direction; a reading unit (12) for reading the two-dimensional codes (50); an acquiring unit (21) for acquiring coordinate information from the read two-dimensional codes (50); and a converting unit (22) for converting the acquired coordinate information into length information of the object (2) being measured, on the basis of a correspondence relationship between the coordinate information and the length information, generated in advance.
