Abstract:
Provided is a lens barrel that is removeably attachable to an image pickup unit, wherein a large amount of shake can be corrected. This lens barrel 1 includes a mounting part 100 that is removeably attachable to an image pickup unit 101, wherein the following are provided: an image forming optical system L that forms a subject image for the image pickup unit 101; a support unit 40 that supports at least a portion of the image forming optical system L; and a fixed unit 50 that is disposed outside of the support unit 40 and that is fixed to the mounting unit 100. The support part 40 is relatively rotatable and moveable with respect to the fixed unit 50, about at least two axes which are substantially orthogonal to the light axis of the image forming optical system L.
