This lens barrel comprises: a focus lens that adjusts the focus position of an optical system; a drive unit that drives the focus lens so as to move in the optical axis direction; and a drive control unit that drives and controls the drive unit on the basis of a specific position based on a target position to which the drive unit moves the focus lens and of the current position of the focus lens.
