Abstract:
Provided are a lens barrel and a loupe employing the same, the lens barrel being adapted to arbitrarily adjust a working distance while being simplified and reduced in weight and size. The lens barrel is provided with: a rotational barrel which holds a first optical system and includes an adjusting member capable of projecting from an inner circumferential surface; and a stationary barrel which holds a second optical system and includes, on an outer circumferential surface, a helical groove with which the adjusting member is engaged. The adjusting member can take a first position and a second position relative to the helical groove, and part of the adjusting member at either the first position or the second position is located within the helical groove. When the adjusting member is located at the first position, the adjusting member is slidable along the helical groove, thereby allowing the rotational barrel to be rotated in a helical manner relative to the stationary barrel. When the adjusting member is located at the second position, the adjusting member is in contact with the helical groove, thereby preventing the rotation of the rotational barrel relative to the stationary barrel.
