Abstract:
Provided is a lens barrel (100) of which the size can be reduced. The lens barrel (100) is provided with a first frame (101), a barrier mechanism (134), and a second frame (103). The barrier mechanism (134) is secured to the first frame (101) and shields an aperture. The second frame (103) guides the first frame in the optical axis direction by using a cam mechanism (M1). The second frame (103) has a cylindrical cam mechanism part (117) constituting the cam mechanism (M1). A thin part (182) having a partially thin section in the radial direction is disposed on the cam mechanism part (117). A securing part (172) for the barrier mechanism is inserted into a space (V) between the thin part (182) and the first frame (101).
