Abstract:
The present invention provides a lens barrel capable of reliably locking a moving cylinder. A locking claw (52) for a focus lens group is positioned at a lock position for the focus lens group so that the locking claw (52) for the focus lens group and a front stopper (34F) limit the movement of a second lens holding cylinder (18), thereby locking the second lens holding cylinder (18). The locking claw (52) for the focus lens group allows the second lens holding cylinder (18) to move toward the front stopper (34F) and limits the movement thereof in the reverse direction. Thereby, when the locking claw (52) for the focus lens group is positioned at the lock position for the focus lens group, the second lens holding cylinder (18) can be locked as a result of moving the same toward the front stopper (34F) even when the second lens holding cylinder (18) is not between the locking claw (52) for the focus lens group and the front stopper (34F). When unlocking the second lens holding cylinder (18), the locking claw (52) for the focus lens group is displaced circumferentially to retreat from the lock position for the focus lens group.
