Abstract:
A lens barrier device (1) having swingable sectors (11-14) for opening and closing an opening (2HL), a swing member (3) for swinging the sectors, and a drive means (6) for driving the swing member. Urging members (21, 22) for urging the sectors in a closing direction are each fixed at one end to a sector and at the other end to the swing member. When the sectors are at positions where they close the opening, the swing member is driven in the direction to further close the sectors against urging force of the urging members. Since the swing member is further driven in the direction to close the sectors against the urging force of the urging member when the sectors are at positions where they close the opening, strong urging force is applied to the sectors. As a result, the sectors can be reliably kept in a closed state without a stopper mechanism etc.
