Abstract:
A lens barrier device (1) having swingable sectors (11-14), a swing member (3) for swinging the sectors, and a drive means (6) for driving the swing member (3), wherein a drive transmission member (9W) for irreversibly transmitting drive force from the drive means (6) to the swing member (3) is provided between the swing member (3) and the drive means (6). In the lens barrier device (1), the drive transmission member irreversibly transmits drive force from the drive means to the swing member. In such a structure, since unstable movement of the swing member is restricted by the drive transmission member, a situation such as that the sectors are opened in a closed state can be prevented. Further, the drive means is stably driven by the drive transmission member, and as a result the sectors can be stably swung.
