Abstract:
A lens barrier module (1) having a substrate (2) with an opening (2HL), sectors (11-14) for opening the opening (2HL) at the time of image taking and closing the opening (2HL) when image taking is not made, and a drive means (6) provided on the substrate and driving the sectors. Since the drive means is on the substrate that is opened and closed by the sectors, the sectors and the drive means are integrated and the lens barrier module is reduced in size. The lens barrier module can be formed so that it is mountable on different lens barrels, it can be handled as a single versatile optical component. Further, the substrate can be constructed from a sector substrate where the sectors are arranged and from a motor substrate where the drive means is installed. In this case, the sectors and the drive means are on one substrate, so that the lens module is of a small size.
