Abstract:
A lens cap (10) which has a lens cover (11) for covering the taking lens (4) of a camera (1), and a portion for preventing accidental operation, which portion comprises a unitary body including, for example, a stopper wall (13) for blocking inadvertent operation of a shutter release button (2), and a projection (14) for stopping the random movement of a switch actuator for switching the camera from a normal photography mode to a flash photography mode. This lens cap (10) also incorporates a cover unit (12) for covering a view finder (6) and range finders (7a), (7b).
