Abstract:
Disclosed is a lens drive device, which can drive a lens in the optical axis direction and correct camera shake. The lens drive device is provided with: a first holding body (2) which can hold the lens and move in the optical axis direction (Z direction); a second holding body (3) which movably holds the first holding body (2) in the Z direction; a fixed body which movably holds the second holding body (3) in the direction that substantially orthogonally intersects the Z direction; an elastic member (8) having a fixing section (8b) to the second holding body (3) and a deforming section (8d); and a plurality of wires (10). The second holding body (3) is supported to the fixed body by means of the wires (10) such that the second holding body can move in the direction that substantially orthogonally intersects the Z direction, and the deforming section (8d) is elastically deformed in the Z direction with a force smaller than the buckling load of the wires (10). Each of the wires (10) has one end side thereof fixed to the deforming section (8d), and has the other end side thereof fixed to the fixed body, and said end side is tilted with respect to the Z direction such that said end side is on the outer side compared with the other end side when viewed from the direction that substantially orthogonally intersects the Z direction.
