In order to provide a compact lens-driving device which makes lens movement possible, and an imaging device, this lens-driving device is equipped with: a reference part; a lens unit having a multi-array lens having a plurality of individual lenses integrally formed with one another in a two-dimensional arrangement when viewed in a planar fashion from the optical-axis direction; and a movement mechanism which has an actuator, and moves the lens unit relative to the reference part in a pre-set movement direction by imparting a driving force to the lens unit by using the actuator. Herein, when viewed in a planar fashion from the optical-axis direction, the multi-array lens has a defect section including a recess or a hole at the intersection between a first imaginary straight line passing through first and second individual lenses included in the plurality of individual lenses, and a second imaginary straight line passing through third and fourth individual lenses which differ from the first and second individual lenses and are included in the plurality of individual lenses. Furthermore, at least part of the configuration for the movement mechanism is positioned in the space inside the defect section.
