Abstract:
A lens machining system comprising a spectacle frame measurement device (20) and an order placement terminal device (10) provided on a spectacle lens order placement site, and an order acceptance control device (30) provided where spectacle lens orders may be accepted, with the order placement terminal device (10) and the order acceptance control device (30) connected via a communication network (3), wherein the system includes an information storage unit (14) for storing as probe information (17), information associated with the shape of a probe in the spectacle frame measurement device (20), and a machining shape computation unit (32) for performing data correction in response to a contact mode of the probe specified by the probe information (17) when generating lens machining shape data at the spectacle lens order acceptance site. By performing said data correction, it is possible to perform appropriate size correction for any spectacle frame shape measured by the spectacle frame measurement device (20).
