Provided is a lens module for an imaging device, the module making it possible to use a lens that has high form accuracy, even with a long focal length, to easily adjust the focal length with a small number of components, and to easily adjust a focal position before a lens and a spacer are joined. The lens module for an imaging device comprises a lens 1, a spacer 2, and a substrate 3 provided with a light-receiving element 3a. The lens 1 comprises an effective portion 1a, a non-effective portion 1b integrated with the outer periphery of the effective portion 1a, and a leg section 1c that is integrated with the non-effective portion 1b and supports the lens 1; an upper end surface 2a of the spacer 2 and a bottom surface 1d of the leg section 1c are planar; the spacer 2 supports the lens 1 with adhesion of the upper end surface 2a thereof to the bottom surface 1d; the length B of the width of the upper end surface 2a is greater than the length A of the width of the bottom surface 1d; and the sum of the height L1 of the leg section 1c and the height L2 of the spacer 2 is greater than the diameter D of the effective portion 1a, with the diameter D being not less than the height L1.
