Abstract:
Provided is a lens optical characteristic measuring device capable of evaluating how an object can be seen through an eyeglass lens from various distances and directions without needing to assume an observation object such as an eye chart. This lens optical characteristic measuring device is provided with a lens holding unit, an operation input unit, a measurement control unit, a measurement calculation unit, a light emitting unit (17), a light receiving unit (19), a lens position moving unit, and an output unit. The lens position moving unit is connected to the lens holding unit. The lens position moving unit is capable of moving a lens (Le) held by the lens holding unit in the Xθ and Yθ directions on the basis of measurement control information. Assuming a virtual eyeball rotation point (G1) to be on the light emitting unit (17)-side of the lens (Le) and the optical axis to be a virtual line-of-sight that passes through the virtual eyeball rotation point (G1), the device measures the optical characteristics of the exit pupil surface of the lens (Le) for each virtual line-of-sight at various angles.
