Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a lens shape generation device capable of thinning a spectacle lens while avoiding an increase in the load on a polishing pad. [Solution] A lens shape generation device (1) is a device for generating the shape of a lens, and is provided with a shape generation unit (2) which, on the basis of a first shape line corresponding to the outer edge of a fixing jig that is mounted to a first surface or a second surface of a semifinished lens, and a second shape line corresponding to the shape of a spectacle frame, generates, as lens shape information, an outermost peripheral line (OL) formed by combining both the shape lines.
