Abstract:
Provided is a lens unit which is capable of suppressing deterioration of the optical characteristics associated with deformation of a resin lens. This lens unit 100 is provided with: a lens barrel 10 which is formed from a metal; a plurality of lenses 21, 22, 23 which are arranged in a line in the axial direction of the lens barrel 10 on the inner circumference side of the lens barrel 10; and an annular intermediate ring 31 which is arranged between lenses that are adjacent to each other in the axial direction. The intermediate ring 31 is formed from a metal and is provided with a projection part 31a that is formed to protrude toward the image side or toward the object side. The lens 21 is formed from a resin and is provided with a recess part 21c that is fitted with the projection part 31a. The gap between the outer circumferential surface of the lens 21 and the inner circumferential surface of the lens barrel 10 is wider than the gap between the outer circumferential surface of the intermediate ring 31 and the inner circumferential surface of the lens barrel 10.
