Abstract:
Provided are a lens unit capable of improving and maintaining the precision of lens position, a method for manufacturing the lens unit, and an imaging device. This lens unit 10 in the imaging device 2 includes: a first lens L1, a second lens L2, and a third lens L3 arranged along the axial direction of an optical axis A; a lens barrel 11 for housing these lenses; and a pressing member 12 interposed between the first lens L1, the second lens L2, and the third lens L3, and the lens barrel 11. The lens barrel 11 has, on the inner peripheral surface thereof, an insertion groove 24 extending from an opening end 11a along the optical axis. The first lens L1, the second lens L2, and the third lens L3 are radially pressed onto the inner peripheral surface of the lens barrel 11 by the pressing member 12 that is inserted into the insertion groove 24 after the first lens L1, the second lens L2, and the third lens L3 are inserted into the lens barrel 11.
