Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a lens unit manufacturing method that addresses the need for providing a lens unit with high optical performance while reducing manufacturing cost. When a lens optical surface is to be formed using the lens unit manufacturing method of the present invention, either a PNP method or a NPNP method is selected in accordance with the configuration and positional tolerance of the lens optical surface, and either a direct method or a step and repeat method is selected. One or two or more of the resulting wafer lenses is stacked with another member and the resulting assembly is divided in lens units to obtain the lens units.
