Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a lens unit provided with: a lens barrel that holds a lens; and an attachment that is detachably attached to an end section of the lens barrel, wherein the attachment can be easily attached to and detached from the lens barrel. [Solution] This lens unit is provided with: a lens barrel 6 holding a lens 2; and an attachment 7 that is detachably attached to an end section of the lens barrel 6. The lens barrel 9 is provided with a magnet 11 for attaching the attachment 7 to the end section of the lens barrel 6, and the attachment 7 is provided with a magnet 16 that is attracted to the magnet 11. A contact surface 12b for determining the position of the attachment 7 with respect to the lens barrel 6 in a direction crossing the optical direction of the lens 2 is formed on the lens barrel 6, the contact surface 12b being formed as an inclined surface that is inclined relative to the optical direction of the lens 2. A contact surface 15b in contact with the contact surface 12b is formed on the attachment 7.
