Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a leptin secretion promoter that is capable of easily promoting the secretion of leptin. A catechin compound having a specific structure [i.e., a catechin compound represented by general formula (1)] is capable of promoting the secretion of leptin and, therefore, usable as an active ingredient of a leptin secretion promoter.
