Abstract:
A leukapheretic filter medium which comprises a base and ultrathin fibers having a diameter of 0.01 to less than 1.0 $g(m)m in an amount of 0.1 to less than 50 wt.%, wherein the ultrathin fibers have a curvature of 1.2 or higher and/or the filter medium has pores having a roundness of 1.7 or smaller formed with the ultrathin fibers.
