Abstract:
A level indicator (1), provided with a contact or conductor electrode that hardly deteriorates, comprises a moving member consisting of a float (9) and an arm (10) which follow the liquid surface in a fuel tank (2), a contact (7) fitted on a slider (8) which synchronizes with the motion of the moving member, and an insulating substrate (6) provided with a conductor electrode (4) on which the contact (7) slides. The contact (7) is formed from an alloy, which does not contain silver.
