Abstract:
The present invention provides: a level measurement unit using an electromagnetic wave, capable of improving the production efficiency and quality of asphalt concrete; an asphalt concrete manufacturing apparatus comprising same; and an asphalt concrete manufacturing method. Here, the level measurement unit using an electromagnetic wave comprises a transmission signal generation unit, an antenna unit, and a reception signal processing unit. The transmission signal generation unit generates frequency-modulated continuous electromagnetic waves. The antenna unit emits, at a target object, the electromagnetic waves generated by the transmission signal generation unit and receives reflective waves reflected from the target object. The reception signal processing unit calculates the distance between the antenna unit and the target object and a level of the target object from the electromagnetic waves generated by the transmission signal generation unit and the reflective waves received by the antenna unit. The antenna unit comprises: a power supply unit connected to the transmission signal generation unit; a transition part connected to the power supply unit and formed to be enlarged in the propagation direction of the electromagnetic waves; a waveguide part connected to a rear end of the transition part and formed to extend in the propagation direction of the electromagnetic waves; and a direction change unit provided to a rear end of the waveguide part and changing the direction of the electromagnetic waves propagated through the waveguide part such that the electromagnetic waves are emitted at the target object.
