Abstract:
The present invention increases the speed of a level shifter in which a positive DC power supply and a negative DC power supply are used. This level shifter circuit is equipped with: a level shifter unit for level-shifting a signal from a first electric potential to a second electric potential, and outputting the same via an output terminal; a current path setting unit for setting a second current path, which is separate from a first current path from the level shifter unit to the output terminal, as the output terminal; and a switch unit for switching between the first current path and the second current path. The second electric potential may be provided with a positive DC potential and a negative DC potential. The second current path may be a discharge path for discharging an electric charge via the output terminal, or a charge path for charging an electric charge via the output terminal.
