Abstract:
The present invention relates to a level switch in which: an output shaft of a driving body rotatably passes through and is thereby mounted to an upper end wall section of a chamber for receiving and storing liquid or solid contents; in a state in which the output shaft rotatably passes through and is thereby mounted to the upper end wall section of the chamber, a sleeve rotatably circumscribes the output shaft, with a spring interposed therebetween; a blade part contacting and compressing the contents that are in the vicinity of the sleeve and accumulate in the chamber is provided on the outer circumferential surface of a tip of the sleeve; and a relative rotation detection part is provided, which detects the occurrence of relative rotation between the sleeve and the output shaft that occurs when a load greater than the elastic force of the spring is transmitted to the blade part.
