Abstract:
A lever door handle lock is provided which includes a base configured to be coupled to a door, a housing coupled to the base and configured to enclose a lever door handle attached to the door, and a locking member coupled to the housing. The locking member has an unlocked position and a locked position. In the unlocked position, the housing is rotatable relative to the base to permit rotation of a lever door handle, and in the locked position, the housing is substantially fixed relative to the base to prevent rotation of a lever door handle. The door handle lock also includes an actuator configured to move the locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position.
