A lever jig (2) that: is mounted to a female connector (20); causes an engagement force to work between the female connector (20) and a male connector (30), by operation from an engagement operation start position to an engagement operation finish position; and causes between the female connector (20) and the male connector (30) to change position from an engagement start position to an engagement completed position. The lever jig comprises a connector gripping section (3) that changes position between a grip position and a grip release position for the female connector (20) and a lever main body (10) supported by the connector gripping section (3) and capable of operation between the engagement operation start position and the engagement operation finish position. The connector gripping section (3) changes position to the grip position, when the lever main body (10) is at a position between the operation engagement operation start position and the position immediately before the engagement operation finish position, and the grip release position, when the lever main body (10) is at the engagement operation finish position.
