Abstract:
A Li recovery method comprises: an acid leaching step for producing a leachate solution by the addition of acid to a battery slag that contains an Li fraction; a first addition step for adding a Ca fraction to the leachate solution to produce a first treatment material; a post-first-addition filtration step for filtering the first treatment material to separate the first treatment material into a first treatment filtrate and a first treatment residue; a second addition step for adding sodium carbonate to the first treatment filtrate to produce a second treatment material; a post-second-addition filtration step for filtering the second treatment material to separate the second treatment material into a Ca fraction-containing second treatment residue and a second treatment filtrate containing an Li fraction and an Na fraction; a heating step for heating the second treatment filtrate; a carbonation step for blowing carbon dioxide gas into the heated second treatment filtrate to produce a third treatment material; and a post-carbonation filtration step for filtering the third treatment material to separate the third treatment material into an Na fraction-containing third treatment filtrate and an Li fraction-containing third treatment residue.
