Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lid for an airtight container having an outgassing device which automatically opens/shuts by means of the elastic force of a spring to periodically discharge gases generated by the food contained in the airtight container. A cylindrical chamber is integrally formed with the airtight container lid, wherein the cylindrical chamber has an open upper surface and a lower surface with a valve seat, and the valve seat has an intake hole penetrating through a portion thereof. The outgassing device comprises: a cylindrical housing which has an open bottom surface and a top surface having an exhaust hole penetrating through a portion thereof, and which is tightly fixed inside the chamber; a deodorizing filter arranged in an inner upper portion of the housing; a spring which tightly contacts a lower surface of the deodorizing filter; and an open/shut valve which is elastically supported at the spring and which tightly contacts the valve seat.
