A lid assembly for multifunctional cooking utensil (100) comprising a utensil lid (102) capable of covering the utensil (100) and comprising an inner lid (1029) having an upper wall (10291) and a cavity (10292) defined partially by the upper wall (10291), a face lid (1021) covering the inner lid (1029), and a hot air assembly in the cavity (10292). The lid assembly further comprises a cooking mode switching device (1022, 1022') and an air frying valve (1025) provided at the upper wall (10291) of the inner lid (1029), an air frying valve position limiter (1026, 1026') being provided between the device (1022, 1022') and the valve (1025). When the device (1022, 1022') is in a first state, a first end (10263, 10263') of the limiter (1026, 1026') limits the valve (1025) to a first position in which an airtight engagement is formed between the valve (1025) and the upper wall (10291) of the inner lid (1029). When the device (1022, 1022') is in a second state, the valve (1025) is released from the limitation of the first end (10263, 10263') and can, under the effect of its own weight, switch to a second position in which a passage for air circulation is formed between the valve (1025) and the upper wall (10291) of the inner lid (1029).
