Abstract:
A link mechanism (12) has a base (19), first and second links (20, 21) pivotally supported by the base (19), and a third link (22) pivotally supported by the first and second links (20, 21). The first to third links (20, 21, 22) are lighter than metal equivalents due to comprising resin and the like as the main constituent, but are thicker in order to ensure strength. The first to third links (20, 21, 22) are disposed so as to overlap one another in the displacement direction of the link mechanism (12), thereby controlling against increase in the space required in the rotation axis direction. A first groove (42) is provided in the first link (20) for the third link (22) to be inserted into with a lid (11) in the open position, thus preventing reduction in the range of motion of the link mechanism (12) due to the first and third links (20, 22) interfering with one another, and controlling against breakage or excess play in the third link (22) inserted into the first groove (42).
